The Chinese characters "Original Wing Chun" are traditionally found on either the front wall of the training room or the front of the school itself. As seen in the movie Ip Man 3. See picture below for example.
Every Chinese character, from the simplest to the most complex, is formed of one or more strokes in a variety of combinations. There are precise rules governing the writing of a character: the strokes must go from left to right, downward and inward. These rules must always be respected, apart from a small number of exceptions, in order to achieve a correct, graceful, harmonious, swift, and above all, legible writing. Add a piece of art to your Wing Chun training room or school! Each piece of calligraphy is hand painted by Master Chan and features a tradition red seal.
