This similar pair of idioms was proudly hung inside the Wing Chun School of Late Grand Master "Leung Jon" in Foo San, China. The idiom on the right side says "Authentic Wing Chun pass on", the left side says "Southern becomes strong". Once upon a time the martial artists from the North would frequently come to challenge the Southern martial artists but they were unsuccessful in their endeavors. Many Southern Wing Chun masters defeated all challengers.
