Chan’s Kung Fu Legacy annual picnic - September 20th, 2026
Despite a cool and rainy start to the morning, the clouds parted just in time for the Chan’s Kung Fu Legacy annual picnic. It turned out to be a perfect day for the Wing Chun, Jow Ga and Tai Chi family to gather, connect, and celebrate the deep bonds of friendship that tie the community together.
This year’s picnic was especially meaningful as it was organized for the very first time by a dedicated group of current students. Thanks to their excellent planning and coordination, the entire event ran seamlessly. The highlight of the afternoon was undoubtedly the incredible spread of food. Attendees were treated to a plentiful variety of delicious entrees and desserts, ensuring nobody left hungry and had extra food to take home.
The gathering served as a wonderful bridge between generations of practitioners. It was a joy to see current students catching up and sharing stories with several long-time practitioners who returned for the occasion.
A special thank you goes out to the board members of Chan’s Kung Fu Legacy and the student organizing committee for putting together such a memorable and well-organized event. Your hard work made this day a triumph.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the wonderful atmosphere. We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
