Hand
Painted Wing Chun Idiom Chinese Calligraphy Scroll
This
similar pair of idioms was proudly hung inside the Wing Chun School
of Late Grand Master "Leung Jon" in Foo San, China. The
idiom on the right side says "Authentic Wing Chun pass on",
the left side says "Southern becomes strong". Once upon
a time the martial artists from the North would frequently come
to challenge the Southern martial artists but they were unsuccessful
in their endeavors. Many Southern Wing Chun masters defeated all
challengers.
Add this traditional look in your Wing Chun School, or for your training area. It is also a great gift for your Sifu's Wing Chun School! Each piece of calligraphy
is hand painted by Sifu Sam Chan and features a traditional red seal.
Every
Chinese character, from the simplest to the most complex, is formed
of one or more strokes in a variety of combinations. There are precise
rules governing the writing of a character; the strokes must go
from left to right, downward and inward. These rules must always
be respected, apart from a small number of exceptions, in order
to achieve a correct, graceful, harmonious, swift, and above all,
legible writing.
