   Chan’s Kung Fu School first opened its doors back in 1976 and has been teaching quality martial arts ever since! A modest venture that began with one man dedicated to sharing his personal achievement in the martial arts schools in the mid western United States. Yet despite today's expanded size and scope, the focus remains: Commitment to the same one-on-one quality instruction upon which on Chan's Kung Fu School was founded.

   At our current location, Chan’s Kung Fu School boasts over 10,000 square feet of training facilities including:
   - Adult training room and youth training room
   - a full contact-training room with mats.
   - a Wing Chun wooden dummy hall
Students also enjoy Chan's traditional Chinese tea room, changing facilities, and equipment shop.

   Our spacious main training room offer plenty of room for any Kung Fu classes. High ceilings accomodate a range of display equipment with some of the longer weapons. Several heavy bags, and free weights are at hand for practice as well, and practice weaponry for those learning weapons.

   The secondary training room includes 7/8" thick shock absorbing mats, which provide an excellent surface to grappling or general workouts. Also, a mirrored wall allows students to watch themselves work out and to self-correct as needed -- ideal for shadow boxing.

   Our Wooden Dummy Hall includes three Wing Chun Mok Jongs setup on a secure mounting system anchored into the walls and floor. A Chi Sau square is marked out on the floor.

   The Combat sport training room is where all of our Combat Sports classes are held - Combat Judo and Muay Thai. It features a large tatame matted area for throws, grappling, and sparring. A large selection of heavy bags, knee bags, thai pads, focus mits, belly pads and other training items are also available for student use.

   Our Chinese Tea House sells a variety of fitness drinks and Chinese green teas to help re-hydrate and relax after a hard workout.

   The Equipment Pro Shop carries a wide selection of items, including student uniforms, performance uniforms, t-shirts, martial arts shoes, full selection of light and full contact sparring gear, training pads, training and live weapons, books, instructional DVDs, and more!

   Besides teaching self-defense, Sifu Chan also focuses on the philosophical and moral aspects of confidence, good manners, responsibility, discipline, understanding, and honesty. Chan’s Kung Fu accepts students from ages 5 and above (we even have students in their youthful 70s).

   Chan’s Kung Fu accepts any student who demonstrates a willingness to learn and who is on a path in life that has heart. Each individual will be interviewed to qualify his/her acceptance in Chan's Kung Fu school. The accepted student will receive quality training through personal instruction in traditional methods.
