Individuals
who are unable to attend regular training in Jow Ga under Sifu
Chan at the main school in Grand Rapids, Michigan, may take part
in the Distance Learning Program and the Instructor Certification
Programs. Individuals will progress through several levels of
certification, each focusing on different aspects and components
of the Jow Ga system.
To join the distance learning program, register from our website and make payment through paypal or
you can down load
and fill out the registration form. Mail the completed form with
a $60 US check or money order to:

The $60 fee is included membership and training program fee.

How the
Distance Program Works
1. Download the distance learning program registration
form, mail or e-mail the completed form to Master Sam Chan. Pay
the $60 registration fee via pal pal. Tuition is not required
for this program, but you have to purchase the required study
materials. And pay the testing fee each time you test.
2. Purchase and study the appropriate Jow Ga materials listed
for the level you are currently working on certification for.
Required materials are available through our online store.
3. After studying and practicing the materials, make a DVD video
of you performing the required materials and mail it along with
the testing fee to Master Chan. If you have questions on what
to include in the video, please contact Master Chan.
4. Master Chan will review and score your performance and skills
demonstrated in the video. Each level has a minimum that you must
score in order to receive certification. A certificate will be
issued from the "International Jow Ga Kung Fu Federation"
for your achievement of that level.

*Siu Fook Fu Dui Chak (Sparring form) - Purple sash level.
*Sub Dok Sau (Ten poison hands form) - Green sash level.
*Siu Hung Kuen (Little Hung fist form) - Blue sash level.
*Sheung Tao Gwan (Double ends pole form) - Brown sash level.
*Man Chi Kuen (Ten thousand characters form) - Black sash 1st
level.
*Tat Sin Kuen (Iron wire fist form) - Black sash 2nd level.
*Fu Mei Darn Dao (Tiger Tail Single Sword)

Beginner Level - Yellow
Sash
1. Study and learn the Beginner Level materials from the Siu Fook
Fu Instructional DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Yellow Sash Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $45 testing fee via pay pal.
4. Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Yellow Sash Level Certificate to be issued, you must have
a test score of seventy-five percent or higher. Test results and
certificate will be mail to you within two weeks.
Beginner Level - Orange
Sash
1. Study and learn the Siu Fook fu from the Siu Fook Fu Instructional
DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Purple Sash Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $45 testing fee via pay pal.
4 . Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Orange Sash Level Certificate to be issued, you must have
a test score of seventy-five percent or higher. Test results and
certificate will be mail to you within two weeks.
Intermediate Level - Purple
Sash
1. Study and learn the Fook Fu Sparring Form from the Sparring
Form (Siu Fook Fu Dui Chak) Instructional DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Purple Sash Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $55 testing fee via pay pal.
4 . Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Purple Sash Level Certificate to be issued, you must have
a test score of seventy-five percent or higher. Test results and
certificate will be mail to you within two weeks.
Intermediate Level - Green Sash
1. Study and learn the Sub Dook Sau Form (Ten Poison Hand) Instructional
DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Green Sash Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $55 testing fee via pay pal.
4. Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Green Sash Level Certificate to be issued, you must have
a test score of seventy-five percent or higher. Test results and
certificate will be mail to you within two weeks.
Intermediate Level - Blue Sash
1. Study and learn the Siu Hung Kuen Instructional DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Blue Sash Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $65 testing fee via pay pal.
4. Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Blue Sash Level Certificate to be issued, you must have
a test score of eighty percent or higher. Test results and certificate
will be mail to you within two weeks.
Advance Level - Brown Sash
1. Study and learn the Double End Staff Form from the Sheung Tau
Kwan Instructional DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Brown Sash Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $65 testing fee via pay pal.
4. Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Brown Sash Level Certificate to be issued, you must have
a test score of eighty percent or higher. Test results and certificate
will be mail to you within two weeks.
Advance Level - Black Sash 1st Level
1. Study and learn the Man Chi Form from the Man Chi Instructional
DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Black Sash 1st Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $75 testing fee via pay pal.
4. Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Black Sash 1st Level Certificate to be issued, you must
have a test score of eighty percent or higher. Test results and
certificate will be mail to you within two weeks.
Advance Level - Black Sash 2nd Level
1. Study and learn the Tat Sin Kuen Form from the Tat Sin Kuen
Instructional DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Black Sash 2nd Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $75 testing fee via pay pal.
4. Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Black Sash 2nd Level Certificate to be issued, you must
have a test score of eighty percent or higher. Test results and
certificate will be mail to you within two weeks.
Advance Level - Black Sash 3rd Level
1. Study and learn the Fu Mei Darn Dao (Tiger Tail Single Sword)
Form from the Fu Mei Darn Dao Instructional DVD.
2. E-mail a compressed video to Master Chan of you performing
the Black Sash 3rd Level materials.
3. Pre-pay the $85 testing fee via pay pal.
4. Master Chan will review the video and give his recommendations.
For a Black Sash 3rd Level Certificate to be issued, you must
have a test score of eighty percent or higher. Test results and
certificate will be mail to you within two weeks.
