There are several different lineages or families of Wing Chun - though they are all members of the same great martial family, they frequently have different views or variations on techniques. The lineage taught by Sifu Chan is that of Leung Jan, which is sometimes referred to as Ip Man lineage (one of the most well known and skilled Masters of this line). Below is the line of Sifu Chan's Wing Chun lineage, based upon accounts given by Master Ip Ching and Grand Master Ip Man.
